tutu tu much work...

well, today we tackled the "lets try to make a tutu cause its alot cheaper than buying one" job. after about an hour of staring at the tulle fabric and frustration rising because we did't see eye to eye on how to go about it, we finally got it....partially done! i have to run back to walmart tomorrow because i guess 6 yards is just not enough. plus i want it to be really full! it definitly takes patience, but it's not so bad once you figure your measurements and just plain HOW to do IT! we're making a hot pink one for alayna's pictures i will be doing soon. so excited and can't wait to do these. we're going for a punk look, she will be sporting a black t-shirt with hot pink and silver skull heads-with bows!, hot pink tutu, black leggings with white polka dots under the tutu, black hi-top converse with hot pink trim, and hot pink bandana wrap on her head. a black and hot pink beaded bracelet and heart tattoo on her arm to finish the look. it's going to be so punky and hip looking, of course i'll post once i get them!
you know, now that we figured this one out, i think we'll go for a few more! i seen some really cute colors at the store. anybody wanting their little girl in a cute tutu, we'll have several to choose from!
