our first week in Apex....

this has been a very very busy week. with packing up last week and unpacking this week...i'm just exhausted! we are really happy and excited that we are finally over here! we are loving the area, the people, and our little house-hey less for me to clean! It is such an ADORABLE house, which we are renting, and i'll be posting pics of the inside once we get it all in place. here are a few of the outside and of alayna's first day of preschool. she loves it there, and is so excited each day to go.

i know God brought us here for a reason, and we are so excited about being here!

the date is set!!

so far all of you who know, this has been a looong process coming, but we do indeed have a date set for our move to north carolina! we will be leaving on friday, sept. 19th, which is only a little over a week away. we are very busy packing and finalizing orders. david will be starting his new job on the 22nd, and we are renting a very beautiful townhouse -which i will be posting pics of later- from some wonderful people. alayna is already enrolled in a great church preschool - which already started the 2nd of sept. everything fell into place, and God has been guiding us through all of it. alayna went and got her 5 year old shots today...she was a little trooper all though she did cry :( she wanted daddy to take her, and after she was done he took her over to the store to let her pick out a toy. she said she wanted a ball for her and one for whitney!...isn't that so sweet...always thinking of her sister too!
anyways we are very excited and looking forward to all the new things God has instore for us...although we are going to miss alot of our friends & families! we will be back to visit often, and plan on offering some location sessions if anyone is interested. thanks for everyone's prayers & support!!

i just love that package man...

you know, it just feels like christmas time when that dear sweet package man (as me and the girls call him) brings me things. i'm so excited i got my gallery wrapped 16x24 canvas in today!!! i am just in looooove with this canvas!!!! i designed it with some quotes along the sides and front...and OMG can i say it again...i just love it! i just had to share, even though these pictures of it don't do it justice, my living room is pretty dim so it was challenging getting these. i just want to hug it :) lol

my friends...

this is a sweet family i had the pleasure of photographing last week. the little girl was in alayna's preschool and dance class last year, so thru that we've connected and they've been a real strength to us thru this whole moving thing. we had a great time with you guys! oh yeah, and their beautiful 2 story brick house is for sale...so spread the word! i'm trying to convience them to move over to cary with us! lol we'll see!

just wanted to let everyone know we are in north carolina right now....again! we should be back this weekend and i know there are few people waiting on their orders, i will contact as soon as i can.

funny side note: i was showing the girls some halloween costumes online last night to see what they would like, i know still a little early. whitney automatically pick outs the princess costume...i want to be a ballarina...she says. alayna picks out the dragon costume. she then says the dragon will CRUSH the ballerina! okay, that sounds like something a little boy would say, not my sweet little girl! but that tells you a little about their personalities, alayna is very tomboyish in alot of ways, and whitney is so girly :)
