3 weeks....

this little one was 3 weeks to the day at this session. his mom and i go way back....we've been friends since kindergarten! i remember going over to her house when we were little and playing doctor (or nurse) with her dolls....know i'm taking pictures of her kids and this precious little one. he stayed awake the WHOLE session, after his mom said that he would probably sleep through all of it, lol! isn't it funny how they always do the opposite of what you say. anyways here's a few to share of this sweet newborn, he really was a good baby....and man did he love my beanbag!

the beach session...

this was the first time i shot a session at our local beach, and i probably wouldn't have thought about if it wasn't for the suggestion from the mom. these came out wonderful, j i think your going to love all of them! i found myself alittle envious as i was working on these, i love the one of them together in the chair, and would love to have one of my own 2 girls like that, as if i don't have enough of them already, lol! it was very hot and sunny, but we still managed to have a great time!

beautiful senior...

we've been planning this session for awhile, and i've been looking forward to it. this is our very own 2008 fair queen! i did her head shot earlier when she was running for fair queen, and i was so happy when i heard that she had won. so here is our little queen...hope you enjoy your sneek peek.

and it happened...

well, i knew it might eventually happen, and it did. while i was in the shower this morning, my little alayna decided to give her hair a trim. oh, and her little sister's too! i had to firmly tell them that scissors were only for cutting paper!! i wasn't mad, in fact i had to keep from laughing...the two little culprits! it could have been worse, she could have wacked it up by her head. whitney's was not so bad, just a snipped strand by her ear. so i snapped a picture of her (with her hair!) just to have on record.... guess we'll be headed to the salon for a trim up!

nephews....

these are my sisters boys. we went to their house on saturday to see my brother who lives in kentucky and i thought while i'm out there, might as well snap some of the boys. she's been asking me to get some of her oldest for awhile....sorry it took so long sis, but i think you'll be happy with these. oh yeah, and the oldest is only (almost) 8! doesn't he look like he's about 12!
The youngest you might recognize...i've been posting his one year pics and he's the baby at the top of my blog header (which is about to get updated, sorry tina! lol).

oh, so busy!!

we've have been so busy preparing for this move to north carolina, i don't remember what it's like to just sit back and relax! i'm not complaining though, i've been looking for a preschool for alayna, having a yard sale, doing senior pics, and more. here are some adorable ones of the last senior i've captured. i really do love these, man this girl was SASSY! seems that i captured her personality well! lol
